twinkle twinkle little song (video)

Though not specifically a children's song way back when, that's how we think of "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" (same melody for "Baa Baa Black Sheep" and the alphbabet song) these days. So here's a child's rendition of it:

Here's another young child, though not quite getting it. He's listening to it on the radio or a recording, with melismatic flourishes, especially toward the end, when he gets into it:

In March, I visited Lloyd Street School in Milwaukee, WI. My goal was to film children dancing with certian, stomping games. These chiildren performed on a stairwell during recess, after lunch. i edited this footage to create a performace. I changed the original film in order to make a very interesting new version of these dances.

The Movie called lloydstreetschool is better quality than lloyd1
